My experience with automatic writing and intuitive writing

I decided to open up to you, to share various facets of my practice and my work, but also to shed light on some preconceived ideas that are circulating. There are so many misunderstandings and misinformation that maintain the myth and the mystique around automatic writing. Today, I want to share with you my experience — my truth — a truth that is unique to me and reflects my identity.

What is automatic writing?

Automatic writing is simply letting the pen express itself freely. In other words, the pen appears to write or draw by itself. But how exactly does it work? There are many hypotheses on this point.

I discovered my ability to practice automatic or intuitive writing—whatever you want to call it—a few years ago. At first, I mainly drew flowers and symbols. Then, these drawings quickly transformed into words, sentences, and eventually messages to other people.

A personal quest and fears

Curious and eager to understand this phenomenon, I combed through everything available on the Internet, as if to make a diagnosis before even fully exploring my own discoveries. Unfortunately, some of the readings were tinged with mystery and fear. I read that entities or the deceased could be hidden behind a pen. This idea shocked me. Fear invaded me: was this a dire omen for my family or for myself?

In order to see things more clearly, I met a person recommended to me "by chance". This woman, endowed with a big heart, communicated with her deceased son to transmit messages. She transmitted to me some writings from my own deceased "loved ones". However, these messages only exacerbated my fears. I want to clarify that I do not question her activity or her truth, but this approach did not suit me.

A new understanding

Faced with these fears, I chose to act with discernment. I told myself that this practice was perhaps not for me, but if I had abilities, I wanted to use them differently. So, I persevered, explored and worked. I discovered that automatic writing could be a way to dialogue with one's subconscious. This perspective totally convinced me.

I understood that my messages had a conscious and unconscious part. This allowed me to fully appropriate this practice. Over time, I discovered that I had the ability to capture the essence of people — provided that they asked me and allowed me to do so. It was a revelation.

I then asked this woman for a final message, but she was never able to give it to me. Why? Because my personal work had "healed" my deceased. They were no longer present to communicate with anyone.

Finding your truth

I realized that it was useless to look outside for what already resides within us. We carry within us a unique essence. This essence, I am able to perceive it in others and to write it down — a true soul reading.

To you who are reading this article out of curiosity, by “chance”, or by an inner calling… Know that if you develop intellectual, emotional, artistic or spiritual capacities, it is important to remember that the spiritual domain is neither a myth nor a source of fear. It is based on experiences, learnings and choices rooted in human values. Find serenity in your own truth.
